Who can apply to Funds for Change?

Funds across venture capital, growth, private equity, blended finance, catalytic capital or thematic vehicles (climate, biodiversity, health, circularity, emerging markets) are eligible. We welcome both established and emerging fund managers with a clear impact thesis and active fundraising strategy.

What is the selection criteria?

We select funds based on:

-Strength of investment thesis and measurable impact strategy

-Team track record and ability to deploy capital

-Stage of fundraising readiness

-Alignment with the Funds for Change themes for the coming edition

If selected, what do I get access to?

-Pitch in front of a curated audience of LPs

-1:1 investor matchmaking sessions

-Coaching ahead of the summit

-Visibility through ChangeNOW’s global network and communications

-Continued introductions and support post-summit

Do I need to pay to participate?

There is a participation package for selected funds which includes pitching, matchmaking, coaching, investor visibility, and access to networking events. Details are provided upon selection.

Who are the investors attending?

Our LP community includes family offices, foundations, DFIs, pension funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, and institutional impact investors deploying capital across fund strategies. Only qualified LPs are admitted to matchmaking and pitch sessions.

What happens after I pitch?

The matchmaking process continues after the summit. Selected funds are integrated into our LP engagement pipeline for follow-up introductions and extended investor exposure.

Can I apply if I participated in a previous edition?

Yes. Returning funds are welcome to apply, whether you are raising a new vehicle, extending your fund size, or launching a successor fund. Several alumni have successfully returned with follow-on strategies. Each application is evaluated based on fundraising stage and fund relevance for the upcoming edition.

Your Experience as an LP

Participation is free and by invitation or approval only, to maintain the quality of interactions and alignment of values.

Is there a cost to join as an LP?

There is no participation fee for LPs. Access to pitch sessions, matchmaking and networking activities is complimentary for qualified investors.

What types of funds will I meet?

You will meet pre-selected impact funds raising across venture, growth, private equity, natural capital, blended finance, evergreen funds and thematic funds (climate tech, biodiversity, health, deeptech, circularity, emerging markets). Only funds undergoing an active raise and vetted for quality are selected.

How is matchmaking done?

During registration, LPs share their investment preferences. Matchmaking is then curated by thesis alignment, ticket size, region and stage. Prior to the summit, you will receive a matchmaking deal summaries.

How do I access fund information before the summit?

Once registered, LPs receive an advance preview of selected funds, including fund size, thesis, geography, track record and key contacts.

Regarding the exhibition, is there special financial help for the young projects to exhibit?

Yes. We offer a discreet engagement process. LPs choose which GPs they wish to meet, and all interactions are confidential.

Do I need to commit capital during the event?

No. The summit is a platform to explore strategies, build relationships and start conversations. Any commitments or due diligence take place afterwards at your discretion.
