Through Africa for Change, ChangeNOW aims to amplify the powerful movement of the African continent, connecting visionaries and scaling concrete action across the continent and beyond.
This dedicated space within the ChangeNOW Summit is designed to foster connection, dialogue, and collaboration through a series of formats engaging diverse audiences:
The Africa for Change program is open to all those engaged in or collaborating with initiatives across the African continent, and who wish to connect with key stakeholders driving impact.
While some sessions are open to all participants, others are accessible by invitation only.
Africa for Change is the evolution of Africa Day, which took place during the 2024 and 2025 editions. More than 10 delegations participated in these events, and this number is expected to grow in future editions.
As global challenges intensify, Africa stands at the forefront of innovation, resilience, and system transformation.
Our Africa for Change program launches at ChangeNOW as a bold initiative to champion the continent’s most impactful voices and solutions, those already driving tangible, scalable change across key transition sectors.
This session sets the tone for a collective ambition: positioning Africa not only as a land of opportunity, but as a global leader shaping the future of sustainable transitions. By identifying high-impact changemakers, fostering meaningful connections, and supporting scale-up efforts, the program aims to unlock value across the entire ecosystem, from grassroots innovators to institutional partners.
