A new cooperation agreement
CEO of betterSoil and the President of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification COP15 (UNCCD COP15) met during ChangeNOW 2023. They have signed a cooperation agreement, marking their commitment to a more sustainable future.
20M€ invested in a new factory
The first meeting between Christophe Béchu and Neolithe took place at ChangeNOW 2020. With support from Béchu, the city of Angers, and Ademe, Neolithe secured a €20 million grant to build its plant and deploy its first waste-to-stone fossilizers.

Engaging 1,900+ journalists
Journalist Sophie Roland was inspired at ChangeNOW 2020 to focus on climate journalism. In 2022, she co-authored a charter with practical guidance for more accurate and impactful climate reporting. Signed by 1,900 journalists.
50,000 plastic bottles saved
InovaYa equipped Plastic Odyssey’s world tour with a water system, eliminating over 50,000 plastic bottles in three years.
A new law against microplastics
After ChangeNOW, PlanetCare was invited by the French Ecological Transition Minister to discuss eliminating ocean plastic. Their microfiber filter was later integrated into France’s anti-waste law, requiring all new washing machines sold from January 2025 to include such a filter—a world first.
Red Cross developments in Kenya
At ChangeNOW under the Grand Palais glass vault, the French and Kenyan Red Cross connected with innovators and investors. They then joined forces to launch the Women Social Entrepreneurship Institute, supported by 21 and the French Embassy in Kenya.
Zero waste
The city of Arles saw their waste reduced following an agreement with the zero-waste assistant Trizzy
