As environmental awareness grows and our world undergoes rapid, transformative change, the need to equip future professionals with the skills to adapt, innovate, and tackle pressing challenges has become urgent. In this context, ChangeNOW and Les Echos joined forces to create the first ranking of business and engineering schools most committed to ecological and social transition.

The Vital Role of Schools in Transition
Schools have always played a major role in shaping the ideal career path, embedding messages throughout education that establish core values and beliefs for a lifetime. Today, a new narrative is emerging: one where individuals can earn a living while contributing positively to the planet. We firmly believe schools have a key role in building a sustainable world.
The 6 Evaluation Criteria
Marketing, finance, sciences… Courses are evaluated comprehensively, avoiding a narrow focus on sustainability-specific programs. The ranking is based on a survey sent to business and engineering schools, evaluated across six criteria:
Integration of impact topics
in the curriculum
Strength of the alumni network in impact sectors
Institutional strategy and exemplary practices
Diversity and equal opportunity
Engagement of student associations with impact topics
Academic excellence and employability
