Moët Hennessy Joins Forces with ChangeNOW for World Living Soils Forum

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Moët Hennessy, the wines and spirits division of the LVMH Group, in the context of the World Living Soils Forum (WLSF). This international event is dedicated to soil regeneration, a crucial facet of sustainable viticulture and regenerative agriculture.

The World Living Soils Forum stands as a testament to a shared dedication to sustainable practices and the preservation of our natural world. Its inaugural edition in Arles (June 2022) convened an array of researchers, experts, public institution representatives, professional associations, and businesses, all rallying behind the essential goal of preserving and regenerating the soil.

As Philippe Schaus, Chairman & CEO of Moët Hennessy, aptly points out, “Soils are a resource we share, a vital element for our survival. They play a key role in climate regulation, biodiversity preservation and carbon sequestration. It is therefore essential for agriculture to go hand in hand with the conservation of these ecological functions.”

The partnership between Moët Hennessy and ChangeNOW has stemmed from our mutual aspiration to accelerate action and mobilize initiatives focusing on the paramount issue of living soils. By combining our respective areas of expertise, we can expand the impact of the World Living Soils Forum, scaling and deploying tangible solutions swiftly.

This partnership reinforces our ambition to highlight the most promising initiatives and technological advances in the field of soil regeneration. By joining forces, Moët Hennessy and ChangeNOW will help accelerate solutions that have an impact on soil health,” notes Sandrine Sommer, Chief Sustainability Officer of Moët Hennessy.ù

Our united commitment was evident at the 2023 edition of ChangeNOW, held in Paris on May 25, 26, and 27, 2023. The WLSF Soils Hub, powered by Moët Hennessy, created a space for all attendees to increase their awareness of the challenges and opportunities related to soil preservation and regeneration.

“An agricultural revolution is necessary if we are to meet the climate and ecological challenges we face. Regenerative agriculture and the science of living soils are some of the most powerful tools available to us to build a sustainable world. Coming together to find solutions and new models is our common purpose,” concludes Santiago Lefebvre, Founder and CEO of ChangeNOW.

By rallying our efforts, we hope to inspire and facilitate the change we need in our world. This partnership with Moët Hennessy brings us a step closer to our collective goal of a sustainable future.
