About 2026
ChangeNOW welcomed COP Presidencies during the 2026 edition, in order to help implement action following COP30, foster dialogue and partnerships ahead of UNCDD COP17, CBD COP17 & COP31 and continue to bridge impact actors with the different COP agendas.
Looking ahead to 2027
ChangeNOW will be attending the COP31 in Antalya to meet the ecosystem, connect solutions, capital and action where it matters and make sure the 10th anniversary edition serves as a platform to implement action following the COP. We will welcome the COP17 Desertification presidency to support the different intitiatives and legacy work.
Join us at the Sustainable Innovation Forum & the Climate Action Innovation Zone
ChangeNOW is partnering with Climate Action for the Climate Action Innovation Zone at COP31 in Türkiye.
Taking place on 10–11 November 2026 at the Sueno Hotels Deluxe Convention & Meeting Center, the Climate Action Innovation Zone is a key platform for major announcements, critical debate and the amplification of solutions at COP31. COP17 : From commitments to action
Across the globe, soil degradation and severe droughts are putting communities under unprecedented strain. At the conclusion of COP17 in Ulaanbaatar, world leaders delivered one clear message: pledges only matter if they reach the ground.
Selected by the National Organizing Committee to maximize the legacy of COP17, ChangeNOW steps in to accelerate this transition. We are rallying our global network to engage corporate partners, drive capital into restoration solutions, and bring field-proven innovations directly to the frontline communities who steward the land.
Our implication for the first Ocean COP
In 2025, ChangeNOW brought together key ocean stakeholders and experts around Ambassador Olivier Poivre d’Arvor and his Deputy Director General, Ashok Adicéam, to initiate or continue dialogue with international partners.
As the first-ever COP1 Ocean (United Nations Ocean Conference) will take place in 2026, ChangeNOW will contribute to global efforts to protect and restore the ocean by connecting innovators, policymakers and scientists driving blue economy solutions.
COP30 – Belém, Brazil, 2025
ChangeNOW also welcomed the COP30 delegation and their CEO Ana Toni at the 2025 edition in Paris. Together, we explored new ways to connect the global impact ecosystem with the official climate negotiation process as well as share the roadmap to COP30.
ChangeNOW was present in Rio for the Pre-COP and in Belém for the COP30, with a delegation contributing to discussions, events and activations designed to strengthen collaboration between innovation and diplomacy.
A story that continued during ChangeNOW 2025
At ChangeNOW 2025, the COP16 Presidency delegation joined us as key partner of the summit, engaging with innovators, corporates and policymakers to build new collaborations. The COP16 showcased key solutions on Land & Desertification and organized a dedicated side event to engage with the private & financial sector to advance the Land Agenda.
UNCCD COP16 – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 2024
In 2024, COP16 presidency, in connection with Business4Land led by the UNCCD, partnered with ChangeNOW to bring together key private stakeholders on land and regenerative agriculture issues, shaping its agenda and announcements.
This marked the beginning of a one year partnership with the COP16, focusing on the private sector engagement on the Land agenda & leading up to UNCCD COP17 in Mongolia in 2026.
